Ronald Champagne

Ronald Champagne, 77, of Windsor, beloved husband for over 50 years of Valentina (Grischuk) Champagne, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Springfield, April 22, 1935, to the late Raymond and Edna (Monette) Champagne, he has been a Windsor resident for over 50 years and was a painting and roofing contractor.

Besides his loving wife, Val, he is survived by his daughter, Anna Champagne; his sons, Ronald D. Champagne, and his wife, Victoria, Nicholas Champagne, and his wife, Maria, Stephen Champagne, and his wife, Pamela, and Christopher Champagne; his grandchildren, Lea and Jeremy Rickert, Sharon Bellone, Ronnie Jr., Nicholas, Andrew, Matthew, Jessica, Stefan, and Rebecca Champagne; his son-in-law, Stephen Bellone; his brothers, Raymond, Richard, Walter, Wayne, and David; and his sisters, June, Janet, Beverly, Anna, and Linda. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Diane Bellone.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., and at 9 a.m. Monday, April 22, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St., Windsor. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
