William F. "Bill" Spusta Sr., 70, of Enfield, widower of Norma (Leferrier) Spusta (March 23, 2013), entered into eternal peace Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford.
Bill was born and raised in Stafford, growing up around Crystal Lake. He lived in Enfield most of his life and was retired from AT&T after 40 years with the company. A patriotic citizen, he served his country honorably as a U.S. Air Force
veteran, and he was a member of the Tanguay Magill Post 80 American Legion in Enfield. Bill was a longtime member of the NRA. He loved music and was a DJ. He loved telling jokes and making other people laugh. He also enjoyed the outdoors, as he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Bill is survived by his two sons, William F. Spusta Jr. and his companion, Diane Burgio, and her son Joey Burgio, Jason F. Spusta and his fiancée, Jane Scott, all of Enfield; and a sister, Sandy Triba and her husband, John. of Florida.
Bill's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
