Wilma L. (Cole) Stanley

Wilma L. (Cole) Stanley, 62, of Enfield, widow of Harvey Stanley, entered into eternal peace Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Parkway Pavilion in Enfield.

Wilma was born in Lincoln, Maine, and had lived in the Enfield community since 1975. She was a member of the Purple Butterfly Red Hat Society and enjoyed scrapbooking, crossword puzzles, and reading books.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Stanley of Enfield; her mother, Helen Cole of Lee, Maine; two sisters, Linda Gorka, and her husband, Edward, of South Windsor, and Patricia Cole of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews, including Melanie Cardini, her favorite niece. Besides her husband, Harvey, Wilma was predeceased by her father, Walter Cole.

Wilma's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday Nov. 2, 2012, at the chapel located in the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.

Wilma's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Nov. 1, 2012, at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.
