Kevin Arcouette Obituary

Kevin Lawrence Arcouette died unexpectedly on July 3, 2010. He was 33 years old and a resident of Stafford Springs. He spent his childhood growing up in Enfield.

Kevin leaves his loving wife of five years Dana Marie (Jellison) Arcouette; his two beautiful children, Kaleb John Arcouette and Bella Faith Arcouette; his parents, John and Beverly Arcouette of Stafford Springs; his siblings, John E. Arcouette, and his wife, April, of Belchertown, Mass., Thomas Arcouette of Stafford Springs, and Elizabeth Arcouette of Vernon; along with his two nieces and nephew; his paternal grandmother, Joan K. Arcouette; and maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Helen Frigon, all of Enfield. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Marcia Butler, and her husband, Brian, of Tolland; his father-in-law, Glenn Jellison of Windsor; his two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Edward Arcouette.

Kevin was a 10-year veteran of the Connecticut Department of Corrections where he was well liked and respected. He was an accomplished carpenter and mechanic and truly enjoyed helping his family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish, he loved spending time with Kaleb and Bella taking them wherever he went, and worked out at the gym consistently with his wife, Dana. He will always be loved and missed by every life he touched.

Funeral services in celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of his family.

Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Thursday, July 8, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations in his memory be made to the Kevin Arcouette Family, c/o CT State Employee Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 409 Somersville, CT 06072-0409.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Kevin's passing. Although we have not spoken since high school, I had known Kevin since elementary school. I was truly blessed to have known him for even a portion of my life. He was an amazing person and will be missed.

There is nothing that can be said to ease the pain. The world lost a wonderful man the other day. There are so many of us with such amazing memories of Kevin, because of who he is. He was always there to stick up for you when you needed it, he would help out in anyway, and had such a loving heart. He will be truely missed.
