Antoinette Pardi Obituary
Antoinette was born April 23, 1923, in Wauregan, the daughter of the late Romeo and Mary (Plantier) Maynard. Toni graduated in 1941 from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing and retired in 1985 after 30 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church in East Hartford and member of the St. Francis Retirees Club and Our Lady of Peace Adult Social Club. Toni was an avid reader and fan of the UConn women's basketball and the Boston Celtics.
She is survived by her two children, Michael Pardi and his wife, Holly, of Windsor Locks, and Denise Kutz and her husband, Lawrence, of East Granby; four grandchildren, Heather Pardi of Quincy, Mass., and Gillian Pardi of Windsor Locks, Kerri Leathers and her husband, Harley, of Bristol, and Edward Kutz and his fiancée, Michelle Eastman, of Windsor Locks; three great-grandchildren, Angelina and Breanna Kutz and Samuel Leathers; a sister, Cecile Maynard of Enfield; and several nieces and nephews. Toni was predeceased by her siblings, Sister Helen Maynard, Laurent Maynard, Ernest Maynard and the Rev. Leo Maynard.
Relatives and friends can join the family on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Toni will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Road, East Hartford, CT 06118. (Please meet at the church.) Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Memorial donations may me made to the St. Francis Foundation, 95 Woodland St., Hartford, CT 06105.
