Beverly Januska Obituary
Bev was born on May 10, 1938, in Manchester, daughter of the late Elizabeth Klein. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1956. Over the years she worked at American Eagle Federal Credit Union, United Technologies Corp., and the Carlson-Wagonlit Travel Agency. After her retirement she enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Bev was a longtime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester. She was very proud of her German heritage and enjoyed going to the beach, playing bingo, bowling, and doing word puzzles.
Bev is survived by her son, Robert Lutzen and his wife, Lori, of Tolland; her three daughters, Linda Young and her husband, Mark, of Hebron, Sue O'Brien and her husband, Bob, of Granby, and Pam Quinn and her husband, T.J., of Glastonbury. She was "Nana" to her 12 loving and cherished grandchildren, Melinda and Matthew Lutzen, Brittne, Andrew, Carter, and Julia Young, Zach, Hannah, and Connor O'Brien, and Justin, Spencer, and Thomas Quinn.
Bev's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Buckingham Estates and the Beacon Visiting Nurse Association for their kind and compassionate care over the past months.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church St., Manchester. Burial will follow in East Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Connecticut Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.

My Dear, Sweet Aunt Beverly: May God Bless You're Beautiful Heart & Soul. I will miss you, now you are with my Wonderful, loving Uncle Stan, Your True Love, and you will miss him no longer. You were so compassionate and so caring when my Dad was sick (before he passed). We will miss you so much...we know you're with our family and friends in heaven's paradise. Dear Pam and Linda, you have my sincere condolences. I lost my dad two years ago nov. 7th and my mom has progressing alzheimers. Therefore I can understand what you are going through. You were blessed to have lived your lives close to your mom and were able to spend lots of time with her. My mom lives in central NY so I miss out on alot. With sympathy. Loren Riesterer
