Beverly Toolan Obituary

Beverly "Bev" A. Toolan, 72, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in Enfield, where she was a lifelong resident.

Bev was born June 29, 1941, in Springfield, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Pellaio) Frank. A woman devoted to her faith, Bev was a lifetime communicant of St. Patrick Church, and on Oct. 23, 1965, she was united in marriage to her beloved husband of 48 years, John "Jack" Toolan. Bev was a caring and compassionate woman, and she received great joy from her time spent assisting others in need throughout her lifetime.

Besides her husband, Jack, Beverly is survived by her children, Brian J. Toolan and his wife, Nicole, of Suffield and Lynn Allen and her husband, Ronald, of Denver, Colo.; and her cherished grandchildren, Daniel and Nathan Toolan and Sedona and Veronica Allen.

Bev's family and friends are invited to gather at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, on Friday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. for a funeral procession to St. Patrick Church for Bev's Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery.

Bev's family will receive relatives and friends at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels on Thursday Dec. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Memorial donations in Bev's name may be made to the Felician Adult Day Care Center, 1333 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082; or St. Patrick Church, 64 Pearl St., Enfield, CT 06082 would be appreciated by the family.
