Cecile Masse Obituary
The daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Bouffard) LaCourse, Cecile was born in Pawtucket, R.I. She had been a resident of Enfield for most of her life and was a member of St. Bernard Church. She was formerly employed at Hamilton Standard for 25 years before retiring and later she had worked at the Bradley Airport gift shop for seven years. Cecile was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan, New England Patriots fan, and UConn women's basketball fan.
She is survived by her five children, Dennis Masse, and his wife, Ann, of Newington, Roland Masse of Enfield, Denise Kadlubowski, and her husband, James, of Enfield, Jeanne Masse of Enfield, and Connie Naugler of Southbury; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Arthur, Cecile was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield. Please meet at church. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Cecile's memory may be made to the Evergreen Health Care Recreational Department, 205 Chestnut Hill Road, Stafford Springs, CT 06076.

I am so sorry for your loss and will miss your mom at recreation and church services. She loved people and it showed. Through her I was able to meet a great family and thank Cecile for this gift of friendship. She will always be in my memory. Kathy Smola
