Charles Mulé Obituary

Charles J. Mulé, 75, of Lowell, Vt., and formerly of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at North Country Hospital in Newport, Vt.

The beloved widower of the late Ann (Jarvis) Mulé, he was born on Jan. 31, 1938, in Enfield, a son of the late Charles and Vincenza (Provenzano) Mulé. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and worked for the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection. His love of the woods brought him to Lowell, Vt., 13 years ago after his retirement. Prior to relocating, Charles was a lifelong resident of Enfield where he was a faithful communicant and Eucharistic minister at St. Bernard Church. He loved hockey and was a former coach with the Enfield Hockey Association. Charles spent many relaxing hours tending to his gardens, which were a great source of pride for him. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother whose family was of utmost importance to him.

Charles will be lovingly remembered by his children, Joseph C. Mulé, and his wife, Susan, of Enfield, John C. Mulé of Lovettsville, Va., Jeffrey C. Mulé, and his wife, Nancy, of Harpers Ferry, W.V., Kimberly A. Henshaw, and her husband, William, of East Longmeadow, Mass., and Kristine A. Randolph, and her husband, Joel, of Enfield; his cherished grandchildren, Michael Ryan Henshaw, Laura E. Nietupski, and her husband, Caleb, Kelly A. Henshaw, Jason C. Mulé, Amy K. Mulé, Brandon Mulé, and his wife, Maya, Zachary Mulé, Jeremy Mulé, Kendall Mulé, Kayla Randolph, and Joel Charles Randolph; his sister, Anne Caruso, and her husband, John, of Wethersfield; many nieces and nephews; and his loving companion Lorna Johnson of Newport, Vt.

Family and friends may gather at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, for a procession to St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Charles' life will be held at 10 a.m. followed by burial with military honors in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.

His family will receive relatives and friends at Leete-Stevens from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013.

Charles' family asks that those wishing to honor his memory do so in the form of a donation to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 75817, Topeka, KS 66675.
