Diane Bourque Obituary
The daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Knapp) Weller, Diane was born in Bridgeport, and lived in the Warehouse Point section of East Windsor. Prior, she had lived in East Hartford. She had been a typesetter for 40 years. She was a member of the River Valley Fellowship Church in Windsor Locks. Diane enjoyed gardening and also antiquing and refinishing furniture.
Besides her husband, George, Diane is survived by three children, Kathleen Komlos Knapp, and her husband, Ted, of Southbury, Kristen Knox, and her husband, Kyle, of Raleigh, N.C., and Brian Bourque, and his wife, Dawn, of Lake Stevens, Wash.; her grandchildren, Katie, Peyton, and Madison Bourque, Jacob Knox, and Alison and Joseph Dufour; a brother, Robert Weller, and his wife, Laura, of Stratford; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her extended family, Paul and Donna Dufour of Enfield.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Somers Baptist Church, 40 Battle St., Somers.
Donations in Diane's memory may be made to the River Valley Fellowship Church, 84 Susan Drive, Suffield, CT 06078; or to the Windsor Recovery Club, 118 Palisado Ave., Windsor, CT 06095.
