Diane L. Hyde

Diane L. (Gray) Hyde, 65, of Somers, formerly of Ellington, beloved wife of the late William M.J. Hyde, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at home with her family at her side.

Diane was born on Sept. 5, 1947, in Cambridge, Mass., daughter of the late Philip V. and Joline A. (Clark) Gray. While residing in Ellington, Diane was the office manager for Precision Craft Dental Studio of Enfield, a family business operated by her late husband.

Diane is survived by her family; two daughters, Denise Reardon-Popp and her husband, Daniel, of Massachusetts, and Shannon Holmes and her husband, Philip, of Somers, with whom she made her home. She leaves a sister, Sandra Caton of Willimantic; four grandchildren, whom she loved spending quality time with, Ashley Reardon, Erika Reardon, Bailey Skidgel, and Grady Holmes; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was an avid reader and her love of the garden kept her outside for countless hours. Diane also enjoyed a good cup of coffee, which was a daily routine of hers.

Funeral services and burial will be private.

There are no calling hours.
