Eva Porto Obituary
Born July 1, 1918, in Wilbraham, Mass., Eva was the daughter of the late Aristide and Marie (Davio) Sbriscia and had resided in Enfield for many years. Eva was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Porto, in 2004. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed with American Bosch of Springfield, and then Redman Electronics of Enfield. Eva enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends.
Eva is survived by her nephews, Aldo Grilli and wife, Lena, of Wilbraham, Mass., and Stephen Marvonek of Ellington. She also leaves her great-nephew, David Grilli of Michigan.
Funeral services for Eva will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield.
Visitation will be prior to services from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Eva's memory may be made to St. Patrick Church, 64 Pearl St., Enfield, CT 06082.
