Grace Haronian Obituary
Born in Princeton, N.J., daughter of the late Dr. Frank and Ardell (Marashian) Haronian formerly of Lawrenceville, N.J. Grace studied biochemistry at Trinity College. In 1980, she began working in research. She spent 24 years working in computer programming and customer support. She later directed the Trinity Asylum Hill Arts Project. Most recently she was working as a math tutor at the East Hartford Middle School.
Besides her husband, Grace is survived by her six children, Angelo Robert Church Troiano of Simsbury, Conchita Theresa Pagan Haronian Troiano of East Hartford, Jacob Haronian Troiano of Cromwell, Victor Joseph Troiano, Kali Marissa White, and Destini Elizabeth White; her sister, Joyce Haronian of Oakland, Calif.; her uncle, Paul Haronian of the Bronx, N.Y.; as well as her grandchildren.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 Sigourney St., Hartford. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with internment in the memorial garden at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Hartford.

Dear Joe,Joycie and children,
I just found out about Grace's passing yesterday. I AM SO SORRY!! Philip and I had lost our younger son in January, 2012 and I had emailed Gracie a few months after. The comforting, compassionate,and wonderful woman and friend that she was....never mentioned that her illness had returned. She was truly an incredible person and friend!! I am so glad I was able to spend some time with all of you a couple of years ago in Ocean Grove...I will cherish that day always!! May you be blessed with love and strength from above. Hugs and prayers to all of you.

Dear Joe and family,
We are so saddened by a loss so great as this, and send our deepest condolences. Although it's been years since Rose & I last spoke, her loving spirit remains with me to this day. Grace and I were cousins by birth, and friends by choice. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to spend time with her over the years, particularly in Ocean Grove. I will miss her, but know that she will be there with us in spirit.

Joe and family, especially your beautiful, beloved children,
I cannot add to what others have said here, only to say that I whole-heartedly agree with everything that everyone has written about the incredible, indomitable, gentle and loving spirit that was Grace. Her heart was one of the very biggest that I have ever had the privilege to know, and her spirit and strength were boundless.. what an extraordinary, loving person she was, and is, albeit in a different form.
How lucky I was to count her as my friend. After I lost my youngest last November, I kept meaning to track her down, to reconnect, but my own grief got in my way...lesson learned. Grace, ever the teacher, and the friend, to everyone, always thinking of others before herself, especially of each of you, the amazing family that you created together, the family through which she will always live on.
I hope that the love of friends, family and for each other holds you close and carries you in this sad, sad time. What a woman - she led a life that honored her name, a life of grace.

Dear Troiano Family,
I have known you for many years, Angelo and Connie and I were close friends in high school, we spent many weekend days at your house. Grace was always the most gracious host she was as pleasant as can be offering us drinks and snacks, playing games with us and letting us have our "girl time".
