Jane Hall Obituary

Jane "Sophie" I. Hall, 93, of Suffield, and formerly of the central New York area entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at the Suffield House, Suffield.

She was born on March 26, 1920, in Flint, Mich., the daughter of the late John and Helen Wierzbicki. Jane moved to the area recently to be closer to family. Prior to retiring many years ago she was employed as a records librarian for Bristol-Myers Co. A dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her life revolved around her family, caring for her home and gardening. She was a lifelong member of the Iris Society.

She is survived by her two children, Sandra Kearns and husband, Jack, of Enfield and Jon Hall and significant other, Leslie Burke, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; a beloved grandson, Jason Michelsen; and a cherished great-grandson, Aaron; her siblings, Leo Wierzbicki and Alexandra Reese; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation period with her family will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service with Pastor Barry Andrusik officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rome, N.Y.
