Jane E. Morin

Jane E. Morin, 82, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Richard Morin (2003), passed onto eternal life Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

She was born May 10, 1931, in Springfield, daughter of the late Francis and Ameila (Irene) Manning. Jane was a resident of the Enfield community since 1957. Her special time was spent at her cottage in Wales, Mass. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Turcotte, and her husband, Thomas, of Wales, Mass.; and a son, William Morin, and his partner, Deborah Mazza, of Windsor Locks. She also leaves her grandchildren, Tim and Alicia Turcotte, and Justin Mazza; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Turcotte; and many extended family and friends. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Francis Manning.

Family and friends will gather at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, for a procession to Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Leete-Stevens.
