To my dad, hockey coach, Den Leader, mentor, and little buddy. I will miss our fishing trips, going on Sunday drives and waving to strangers, eating clam chowder at the Portside Restaurant, and going on adventures with you. I will miss your stories and sense of humor. You are always in my thoughts. You are always in my heart. I miss you dad. I love you dad.

Merilyn,

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. You and John were so kind to me when Kathy and I were kids. My best memories of John are when we went camping at Hampton Beach in 1983. John was always upbeat and added humor to the trip. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayer.

Merilyn, we are all sorry for your loss. We only knew John for the short time, that you welcomed us all, Joe, Donna, Evan, Trevor and Vicoria Duffy, (I'm daughter of Ed & Polly Sauer-campers at Nelson's) in our little private overflow camping area. We enjoyed visiting with you,and you and your husband giving my children treats, for the dog, Riley too! He will be missed. Know that he is no longer in any pain, and is at peace.
We hope you can find comfort in our words in the coming days. Donna Duffy and family
