Joseph Klojzy Obituary

Joseph James Klojzy, "Joe," son of Laura (Scott) and Jeffrey Klojzy, left us on June 25, 2013, far too soon.

He was born on Sept. 19, 1984, grew up in Manchester, was a graduate of Manchester High School, and recently resided in Rockville. Before his illness took full control, he was a dismantler for Parker Street Used Auto. He was a member of Center Congregational Church and was an Eagle Scout and adult leader of Boy Scout Troop 25. Joe will be remembered for his good heart, peaceful nature, and love of the outdoors and live music. He wasn't a techie guy. The most modern thing he owned was his camera, which he took out into the woods to capture shots of beauty. He was a hard worker that never minded getting his hands dirty to get the job done. His passion was to put a smile on every face he came across.

Besides his parents, he leaves his siblings, Jeffrey Jr. of Vernon, Alison of West Springfield, John and Crystal of Salt Lake City, and Elizabeth of Manchester; his grandmothers, Barbara Klojzy of Manchester and Helen Scott of Wethersfield; aunts Mary and Carol Scott of Wethersfield; uncle Jim Scott of Enfield; aunt Penny and uncle Steven Young of Ashford; and numerous friends, particularly Amanda Plasky and Jonathan LaForge.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at 10 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester followed by burial in East Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Troop 25 at Center Church, 11 Center St., Manchester.

I can't remember a single time where you were there and there wasn't a smile on my face. Your spirit and good nature were always a welcome sight on a bad day. Your sly smirk and silly sense of humor and how you were able to always make every one laugh will live on in all our hearts. To the klojzy family. My deepest sympathy as 28 is far too young to lose a soul especially one as amazing as Joes. I wish all his close fiends and family peace and remember he will always be watching over you and is never any father away then a walk in the woods. Rest in peace Joe you were Def "one of the goods ones" and will be greatly missed.
