Kathleen Mackey Obituary
She was the loving wife of 34 years to Francisco Sabater. Kathy was born on July 20, 1952, in Hartford, the daughter of the late Charles and Rosemary (McGourn) Mackey and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Kathy was employed for 20 years with the Town of Enfield's Day Care Program. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Francisco, Kathy is survived by her three beloved daughters, Toni Mackey and Bobby Markowitz of Somers, Yvette Sabater and Ray D'Amato of Enfield, and Elisa Sabater of Enfield; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon Rosa, Aryana D'Amato, Nathan Markowitz, Gionny Sabater, Ava D'Amato; her siblings, Kenneth Mackey of East Windsor, Joyce Villerreal and husband, Ricardo, of Meriden and Lorry Jacques and husband, Raymond, of Enfield; her niece, Belinda Villerreal; and her nephew, Richard Villerreal.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Road, Enfield.
The funeral procession will form at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the funeral home to St. Patrick Church Enfield for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery, Enfield.
