Kimberly Sellitto Obituary
Born in Manchester to Joseph Jr. and Cynthia (Morrill) Sellitto, she was raised in Coventry and lived most of her life in East Hartford. Kimmy, as she was known, was a graduate of East Hartford High School and was currently earning her degree in criminal justice. She was an avid tattoo enthusiast and enjoyed going to the gym or just relaxing on the beach. But most important was her friends and family. She had a close circle of friends who she loved to spend time with and a 3-year-old nephew and 8-month-old niece who were the light of her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, Joseph and Cynthia of Cheshire, she is survived by her sister, Allison Marie Sellitto, and her fiancé, Sean O'Brien, of Cheshire; her aunt and uncle, Gary and Laurie Sellitto of Bradenton, Fla.; her aunt, Gayle Sellitto of Manchester; her 3-year-old nephew, Sean Patrick O'Brien Jr. "BooBoo"; and her 8-month-old niece, Isabella Theresa O'Brien "Izzie T"; and many loving cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at the St. Christopher Parish, 538 Brewer St., East Hartford, followed by burial in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor.
Memorial donations may be made in Kimberly's name to the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Attn: Donations, 912 Silas Deane Highway, Lower Level, Wethersfield, CT 06109.

Dear Cindy and family, first let me say how deeply sorry I am to hear of the loss of your daughter Kimberly. Gone way too soon. I have been thinking about you lately and asked Tim Crimmons to try to find you. I was reading our yearbook and you wrote some things that made me remember the fun we had in class together. Dear Sellitto Family,
I find it hard to come up with any words that would provide even the smallest amount of comfort. Kim and I were close in our Senior year of high school and I remember spending a lot of time at your home. We went to graduation together and I have very fond memories of her at that time. We had grown apart when she went off to college, but after Michael passed she got in touch with me and we stayed in touch ever since. Every Halloween I would remember to say happy birthday because I always associated that holiday with her, and I always will. I'm just so very sorry. Kim was loved and her beauty admired. She will be remembered for her life, and not her death. I pray that you find the strength to get through this haze that I know is surrounding you right now, and that you find comfort in the company of all those that loved Kim so very much.
