Linda Poulin Obituary
She was born on April 8, 1942, to James and Katherine Duffy of Springfield Mass. Linda will be remembered as a loving, caring woman who devoted her life to helping others and taking care of her family. Her most precious gift was her family. She will be cherished by her family and friends as a strong, loving woman who devoted her life to helping others. She had a long career as a registered nurse, dedicating her work life to the care of patients. Linda is best remembered as loving wife, mom, and grandmother who was a strong and wise woman with keen sense of humor. Linda was very active in her community. During her retirement years she and her husband spent time taking care of rescue greyhound dogs that they adopted, spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and tag sales.
She was the devoted wife of 50 years of the late Roger Poulin who died July 2012, and is now sharing the everlasting joy of their eternal reunion. She is survived by her sons, James Poulin and wife, Colleen Poulin, of Salisbury, Mass., and Mark Poulin of Clearwater Fla.; her grandchildren Casey, Ashley, Jenna, Cathleen, and Hailee; her great-grandchildren; her sister Dayle Palmer and her husband, Robert "Red" Palmer, of Springfield, Mass.; and nieces Katie and Christopher. She will be missed by many.
At her request there will be no calling hours. A memorial in her honor will be held in the spring.
