Lucienne MacDonald Obituary
She was born on Dec. 3, 1942, in Evreux, France, daughter of the late Lucien and Jeanne Marie (Lebihan) Demoy. She grew up in France and came to the United States at the age of 18. Lucienne was full of life and was always on the move. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend and had a love for all animals.
Beside her husband, William, she is survived by a son; Steven W. MacDonald and his wife, Kasia, of Bristol; a daughter, Nadine MacDonald of Danbury; a brother, Andre Demoy and his wife, Claudine, of France; and many nieces and nephews from France and the United States.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013, 11 a.m. at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the MacDonald family, we were so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. Lucienne was our waitress at Concettas in Bloomfield, and we always enjoyed hearing her stories of her visits back to France. She will be greatly missed.

Your Mom will always be in my heart. She was a good person who loved to live life. Her laugh will always stay with me too. My Mom and I were just in Evreux, and talking about her, on July 11 en route for Paris.
Stay strong, remember the good, and live life to its fullest because she wouldn't want it any other way!!!
