Ludwig "Bob" Kreho

Ludwig "Bob" Kreho, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, at the age of 63, on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Hartford Hospital.

Bob was the beloved husband of 40 years to Ruth M. (Raymond) Kreho. He was born on Jan. 8, 1950 in Salzburg, Austria, the son of the late Mujo and Katherine (Siegel) Kreho, and had resided in Enfield for many years. He received his Associate's degree from Asnuntuck Community College. Bob served his country honorably with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Cigna Insurance Co. for 26 years and, prior to that, with Travelers Insurance Co. Bob enjoyed reading, was an avid fisherman, and loved spending time at his camp on Lake Champlain and time with his family.

Besides his wife, Ruth, he is survived by his two children, Michael Kreho of Lake Placid, N.Y., and Kristyn Kreho of Enfield; his loving granddaughter, "the apple of his eye" and best friend, MacKenzie Kreho; his siblings, Magdalena Wood, Carol Treloar, Enwer Kreho, Kelvin Kreho, and Glenda Walker; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Monday, July 1, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Patrick King St. Cemetery, Enfield.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
