Nancy Snow Obituary

Nancy Leigh Snow, 76, died at home on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with heart disease.

She was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Yarmouth, Maine. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Leigh (Woods) Farwell. Nancy graduated from Westbrook High School, class of 1955. In 1956, she married Richard "Dick" Snow. In 1963, they settled in Enfield, where they raised their family of seven children. After her husband retired, they moved to Eustis, Fla. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, bowling, and playing cards with her friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to various casinos.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard; sons William and his wife, Linda, of Virginia Beach, Va., Stephen and his wife, Carol, of Enfield, Michael and his wife, Debra, of Ellington, Christopher and his wife, Lisa, of Enfield, Gregory and his wife, Susan, of Chesterfield, Va.; and daughter Karen and her husband, Jerry, of Frederick, Md. Nancy was predeceased by her daughter Cynthia and her husband, Edward. A warm and loving mother, Nancy will be sadly missed by all who shared in her life. Nancy also leaves 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
