Nellie Lynch Obituary

Nellie (Kamay) Kennedy Lynch, 84, of Stafford Springs, loving wife of the late Arthur "Bucky" R. Lynch, joined her Savior on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Blair Manor.

She was born in the Hazardville section of Enfield on Feb. 24, 1929, to the late Joseph and Mary (Sirega) Kamay. Nellie was a resident of Stafford Springs for the past 38 years and prior to that lived in Enfield. She was employed as a supervisor at Bradley Field, retiring in 1980. Nellie enjoyed her gardens, fishing, and crafts, especially dry flowers.

She is survived by her three children, Michael "Mike" R. Kennedy and his wife, Carol, of Feeding Hills, Mass., James G. Kennedy and his wife, Carol, of Toano, Va., and Deborah Tetro and her husband, Scott, of Enfield. Nellie is also survived by eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Arthur, she was predeceased by her siblings Henry, Joseph, Stanley, John, Frank, Katherine, Josie, Bertha, and Helen.

Nellie's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.

A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Donations in Nellie's memory may be made to the Blair Manor Recreation Fund, 612 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT 06082.
