Pauline Palacko Obituary

Pauline A. Palacko, 81, of Stafford Springs, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Evergreen Health Care Center.

She was born in Somersville, daughter of the late Jacob and Pauline (Shelanskas) Ruczinski. Pauline was a member of St. Edward Parish.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Edward R. Palacko Sr. of Stafford Springs; four children, Edward R. Palacko Jr., and his wife, Elaine, of Somers, Dorothy Sears of Enfield, Sandra Palacko of Stafford Springs, and Sharon Watkinson of Stafford Springs; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Gagnon, and her husband, Florian, of Chicoppee, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Edward, and Jacob "Marty" Ruczinski; and three sisters, Alice Syzch, Amelia Golemba, and Theresa Ruczinski.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, with a procession forming by 9 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home Inc., 51 E. Main St., Stafford Springs, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Church, High Street, Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs. Calling hours are on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
