Ryan Luedtke Obituary
Born in Springfield, on June 28, 1982, son of Gary and Sheila (Lawless) Luedtke of Tolland, he had lived in Tolland before moving to West Hartford. Ryan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and was a financial analyst for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford. Ryan was a wonderful young man who loved his family and friends. He was passionate about traveling the country and the world. He also loved skiing, was a voracious reader, and loved to debate politics and world events. He was keenly interested in science and all things mechanical, in particular his little BMW roadster that he loved to drive on sunny days with the top down. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him or knew him as a friend. His family and friends were blessed to have him in their lives.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his sister, Meaghan Luedtke of New York City, N.Y.; his grandmother, Dorothy Lawless of Somers; aunts and uncles, Richard Lawless of Enfield, Tricia and Michael Pio of Somers, Christopher and Pauline Lawless of Windsor Locks, Sean Lawless of Enfield, and Katie and Lee Dexter of Keene, N.H.; cousins, Michael and Angela Pio of Somers and Ryley Dexter of Keene, N.H., and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Richard Lawless.
The funeral will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. Burial will be private.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ryan loved flowers and plants but memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Connecticut Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067; or the American Heart Association, Connecticut Chapter, 5 Brookside Drive, P.O. Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492.

Im So sorry for your loss. I was in a few classes with Ryan in high school and he was always smarter than Me! I was never friends with him personally but I saw how He always treated everybody with respect, and always had a smile on his face. He probably doesnt even remember Me but I still wanted to pay My respects. RIP My Friend!

I just ran into Ryan in the Center earlier this month. Previously we lived together a few years ago and my husband and I actually were talking about him last night. He had such a unique personality and I am devastated to hear this news today. I always enjoyed his humor and perspective on the world. My heart is heavy and shares the sorrow of Ryan's passing. What a tragic loss :(

I had the great honor & pleasure of knowing & working with Ryan @ P&W, though for too short a time. He was the nicest, kindest, and most respectful young man I have ever met. My heart and deepest sympathies go out to the family. Though very saddened & hurt by your loss, you have to be very proud that God put him in your life.
