Violet Cwikla Obituary
Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Warren and Margaret (Tobin) Hall, she was raised in Windsor and attended Windsor schools. She had worked with her husband operating Ken's Nursery and Landscaping on Hayden Station Road in Windsor for 50 years. She enjoyed different crafts, including ceramics and crochet work.
Besides her husband, Ken, she leaves her son, Kenneth C. Cwikla Jr., and his wife, Carol, of Windsor Locks; a brother, Ivan Hall, and his wife, Beverly, of Windsor Locks; five grandchildren, Kyle Cwikla, Sabrina (Cwikla) Zimmerman, and her husband, Patrick, Heather Cwikla, and Rebecca and Jonathan Dodge; her cousin, Donny Hall, and his wife, Lorraine; many nieces and nephews as well as many relatives on her husband's side of the family.
Her family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Funeral and burial will be private.

Kenny, I am so sorry for your lost. I don't know if you remember us, but we lived on Palisado just off Hayden Station Rd. You did quite a few things in our yard. My deepesr sympathy to you and your family.

Deepest condolences to Vi's family. Vi comes to mind and fond memories of past days when as a young lass I was welcomed into the Hall and Cwikla homes.
Vi will carry on in the hearts and minds of all who she came to know, she will be missed deeply.
