William Welch Obituary
He was born July 1, 1954 in Hartford, son of John J. Welch of Manchester and the late Lillian (Scott) Welch. Billy was raised in Manchester, attended local schools, and had resided in Vernon for the past 20 years. He was formerly employed at Vernon Manor and more recently with the Admiral Cleaning Company.
In addition to his wife and father, Billy is survived by his sister, Nancy Welch of Manchester; his stepmother, Jeanine Welch of Manchester; his three brothers-in-law, Richie White and his wife, Michelle, Ross Pease and his wife, Lisa, and Mike Healey, and all their families. He also leaves his close friend, Rick Fuller; as well as his beloved dogs, Daisy, Max, and Maggie.
Memorial calling hours will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St., Manchester.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation.
