Arvid F. Rubacha, 71, of Stafford, husband of Larraine (Pisarsky) Rubacha, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at home in the arms of his devoted wife.

Born on June 26, 1942, in Manchester, the son of the late Frank and Rose (Gutt) Rubacha, Arvid was a resident of the Enfield community for 35 years before moving to Stafford. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Pratt & Whitney as a senior financial analyst. An avid outdoorsman, Arvid enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting and was the past secretary and president of the Enfield Hunters Club. He was also a communicant of St. Bernard Church in Enfield.
In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, Arvid leaves his daughters, Susan Mulé, and her husband, Joseph, of Enfield, and Deborah Szymanski, and her husband, Stephen, of Stafford; a son, Alan Rubacha, and his wife, Lisa, of Woodbury. He leaves his six cherished grandchildren, Jason and Amy Mulé, Matthew and Tommy Szymanski, and Jack and Grace Rubacha.
A Mass of Christian burial in celebration of Arvid's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield. Relatives and friends are asked to go directly to church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arvid's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Leete Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.
