Denise M. Brown-Martocchio, 57, of Enfield, loving wife of James Martocchio, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013, with her husband, family, and close friends by her side.

Denise was born Dec. 24, 1955, in Hartford, the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Seegers) Malone. She was a graduate of Westfield State College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in social work, a career in which she could assist countless people. Denise was a very empathetic person, a hard worker, a wonderful mother, and had a very kind soul. She was a great listener and an advocate for the sick and elderly. Very proud of her Irish heritage, she enjoyed listening to Celtic music and found comfort listening to Josh Grobin.

In addition to her husband, James she is also survived by a son Mark Brown of Vermont.

Per Denise's wishes all services will be private.

Donations in Denise's memory may be made to National Scoliosis Foundation, 5 Cabot Place, Suite 5, Stoughton, MA 02072.
