Elizabeth L. Booth, 92, of Vernon, beloved wife of the late John E. Booth, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born Jan. 20, 1921, in Talcottville, daughter of the late William and Mary (Adams) Lee, she lived most of her life in Vernon. Elizabeth was a long time and active member of Talcottville Congregational Church and she volunteered for 35 years as a 4-H Club Counselor.

She is survived by her two children, Edwin Booth and his wife, Sandra, of Tolland, Barbara Lawrence of Vernon; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday, March 19, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road, Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013, 10 a.m. at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Talcottville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Visiting Nurses & Health Services of Connecticut, 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT 06066.
