Francis G. Ayotte, 51, of Enfield, died suddenly and peacefully on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Hartford Hospital.

Born in Hartford on Oct. 22, 1962, son of Joyce E. (Quagliaroli) Ayotte of Enfield and the late Gerard W. Ayotte, he was a lifelong resident of the Enfield community. In 1981, Francis was a graduate of Enfield High School and was employed by Brooks Brothers Company in Enfield for the last 33 years. He enjoyed trains and woodworking and was a parishioner of Holy Family Church.

In addition to his mother, he leaves three siblings, Michael Ayotte; Theresa LaRoche and her husband, Stephen; and James Ayotte and his wife, Linda, all of Enfield; and six nieces and nephews, Ryan and Brooke LaRoche and Renee, Matthew, Kathleen and Joseph Ayotte. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and will be missed by all. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and godfather and was a very compassionate person. He loved his nieces and nephews and spent many hours talking with them at home, on the phone and playing games.

Family and friends may gather Monday, Feb. 17, at 9 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield.
