Frank S. Jurczak, D.M.D., 64, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Constance (Tummillo) Jurczak of 39 years; his daughter, Karen Mahoney, and son-in-law, Michael Mahoney of Middletown, R.I.; his son, Frank S. Jurczak III, and daughter-in-law, Caitlyn Jurczak, of Westwood, Mass.; his grandsons, Brennan and Collin Mahoney of Middletown, R.I.; his brother, Richard Jurczak of Rhode Island; and his sister, Susan Carlson of Connecticut. Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to all.

Frank was born in New Britain, the son of the late Frank and Veronica (Dzilenski) Jurczak, he attended Pulaski High School and became an Eagle Scout. He went to Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey where he met his wife, Constance. Frank then attended Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School and dedicated six years of his life to the United States Navy, where he was a naval officer and was stationed at Paris Island, S.C. Frank was a practicing dentist in the town of Manchester for 33 years, where he lived and was active in the community. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Dental Society, Hartford Dental Society, and the Manchester Dental Society. He was a former president of the St. James Church Parish Council, he enjoyed volunteering at the Manchester Road Race for 30 years and he was a Little Miss Softball Coach. Frank loved to spend time with his family, giving to others, the ocean, and fishing.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 25, at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Manchester. Burial will be private.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, Feb. 24, from 3 to 7 p.m.
