Helen A. Piccin, 88, the widow of Dr. James D. Piccin, died on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

Helen was born in New Britain, the daughter of James and Anastatia Pracalo. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Sullivan, and her husband, John, of Bolton, Ann Marie Lautenbach of Vernon; and her son, Robert Piccin of Coventry; her grandchildren Rebecca Boncoddo, and her husband, Robert, and Toby Sullivan; her great-grandsons, James Martin Boncoddo and Jackson John Boncoddo.
Helen's family would like to offer a special thanks to Right at Home, the hospice program of the Visiting Nurses Association and the staff at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be private.
