Hildred (Thomas) Mulrain, 86, entered into eternal rest Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Dominica, West Indies, she grew up in Trinidad and lived there for many years before moving to Enfield in 2001. Hildred was the owner of a cleaning company that did commercial cleaning for businesses in Trinidad. She was a member of the Connecticut Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church in South Windsor and was also an avid Scrabble player. Her husband, Francis Mulrain, died in 1990.

She leaves three daughters, Sandra A. Sergeant of Enfield, with whom she lived, Erica F. Mulrain of Trinidad, Sharon M. Alexander of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Eric Mulrain in 2010.

The funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield. Calling hours will precede the service Friday, Nov. 9, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Burial will be private in Trinidad.
