Janice Helena Sieber Weigold, 89, of Brewster died Oct. 30, 2018, at Cape Cod Hospital.

She is survived by her sons John and Kerry, and Kerry's wife Rosemary; her grandchildren, Kevin Weigold and Jennifer Witt and Jennifer's husband, Kirsten Witt; and a few special friends in Florida, Cape Cod, and Connecticut.

She grew up in East Windsor, graduating from Ellsworth High School in 1947. She married John H. Weigold Jr. of Tolland in 1950 and moved to an apartment on his family's farm. She worked as an executive secretary at Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks during the early 1950s. She devoted herself to raising her children for 10 years, then rejoined the work force as administrative assistant to the principal in Tolland. In 1977 she and her husband moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where they both worked at United Technologies. In 1988 they built a new house for their retirement on Cape Cod, next door to the cottage where the family had spent their summers since 1963, her beloved "Happy Day Hearth." After her husband's passing in 2000, she spent summers in Brewster and winters in Jamaica Bay, Boynton Beach, Florida with her son, John.

There will be a private burial at a later date.
