At age 61, Katheanne Dingman Brown, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and teacher, went to be with our Lord in Rio Rancho, N.M., on Tuesday, March 4, 2014.

She was loved by many and changed many lives during her life. In spite of all her health problems, she received high honors in her master's degree and taught school for several years. She was an amazing woman.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Brown; daughter, Cindie; son, Jason; four grandsons, all of Rio Rancho, N.M. She is also survived by her mother, Marval Gill of Enfield; six brothers, Joseph Dingman, Barrow, Alaska, William and Michael of Florida, Thomas of West Springfield, Robert of Windsor Locks, and Patrick of Enfield; as well as her uncles, Joseph Parker, John Johnson, and David Johnson, all of New York.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, at Holy Family Church, Enfield, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Protectors of Animals, 144 Main St., East Hartford, CT 06118.
