Lois Whitcher Lundberg, 92, of Manchester, born Dec. 31, 1925, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her devoted husband of 72 years, George A. F. Lundberg Jr., M.D. as well as her loving family.

Lois was a member of the Women's Auxiliary in both the Manchester and Hartford Hospitals. She spent time working at Manchester Memorial Hospital for many years, but most of her life was spent raising her four children, George A. F. Lundberg III, Charles Lundberg, Julie Lundberg Cameron, and Kate Lundberg King.

In addition to her husband and children, she is also survived by her 10 grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

All funeral services for Lois will be private.

Internment will take place in East Cemetery, Manchester.

Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, Manchester, is in care of her arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Health Services Inc. North Central Hospice, 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT 06066.
