Marion Norma (Zinsser) Rauschenbach, 96, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Clyde E. Rauschenbach, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Riverside Health Care in East Hartford.

Marion was born in East Windsor, Connecticut, on Jan. 1, 1922, daughter of the late Charles and Marion (Cotton) Zinsser. She was married to Clyde E. Rauschenbach on August 15, 1942, and together they settled in Manchester.

Marion was a former member of the South Methodist Church in Manchester. A kind, caring, loving, and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, she will be dearly missed. She leaves her daughter, Sharon Theriault and her husband, Ronald, of Manchester; her son, Gordon Lockwood of East Windsor; her sister, Barbara Popoff of Vernon; and her grandchildren, Todd and Brett Shanaman, Jason Theriault, Ross and Tabitha Lockwood.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor; followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Windsorville Cemetery in Broad Brook.
