Mary A. (Bik) Popick, 103, of Rockville, and wife of the late Louis Popick, went to eternal life Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Woodlake of Tolland.

She was born Jan. 1, 1915, in Peabody, Massachusetts, to the late Methody and Anna (Rock) Bik. Mary was a retired machinist for the Roosevelt Manufacturing Co. She was a longtime communicate to St. Bernard Church in Rockville.

She is survived by her son, James Popick, and his wife, Marilyn, of Ellington, and her sister, Eva Kowalczyk of Vernon. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David Popick; her daughter, Elaine Johnston; and her sister, Pauline Burns.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville. A funeral processional will leave the funeral home after to St. Bernard's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Rockville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help homeless mothers and their children which can be sent to St. Bernard's Church, 25 St. Bernard's Terrace, Rockville, CT 06066, put under memo "for Clairvaux House."
