Mary Ann (Madore) Kristoff of Quaker Hill went home to God on Nov. 15, 2012.
She was born in Fort Kent, Maine, on June 20, 1924, moved to Manchester in 1940 where she met the love of her life, and married Mark Kristoff on Aug. 25, 1951. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year!
Mary Ann leaves her loving husband, Mark of Quaker Hill; her daughter, Laura Gangi of South Glastonbury, her son, Glen Kristoff and his wife, Terry of Chester, her son, Jeffrey Kristoff of Farmington; her granddaughter, Tiffany Gangi of Newington, her granddaughters Allegra, Shelby, and Remie Kristoff of Chester; and her great-grandson, Anthony Gangi of Newington. She also leaves her sisters Bernice Michaud of Bristol and Bernadine Bard of Simsbury. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Aurora Bard.
Mary Ann was a kind and gentle lady who was dearly loved by all who knew her. Her family meant everything to her and no one could have asked for a more compassionate or devoted person. She will be truly missed!
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at 10 a.m.
Interment will be private at a later date.
