Mary (Donahue) Demers, 79, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Norman Alcide Demers (1992), entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Gardner, Mass., on Nov. 19, 1933, to the late George F. and Emily (Gill) Donahue. A resident of Enfield for 50 years, Mary was a communicant of Holy Family Church. She was a very social person who enjoyed speaking with people from all walks of life. She was a member of AARP.
Mary is survived by two sons, Richard T. Demers of Enfield, with whom she made her home, and David D. Demers, and his wife, Diane, of Springfield; a daughter, Ann L. Howe, and her husband, Tom, of Longmeadow, Mass.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours, and services and burial for Mary will be private.
