Michael V. Aresco, 56, of Enfield, loving husband of 22 years to Kerry Ann (Kessler) Aresco, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, May 12, 2013.

Michael was born in Meriden, the son of the late Victor Aresco and Rose (Darmofalski) Aresco. He grew up in New Britain and spent the last 20 years living in Enfield. Michael was employed as an inspector for many years and was presently working at WGI Inc. in Southwick, Mass.

Michael is also survived by his children, Nicholas and Alyssa Aresco, both at home; one sister Karen Pagano of Wellfleet, Mass.; and one brother, Salvatore Aresco of Old Saybrook; his mother-in-law, Helen J. Kessler of Broad Brook; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen, and her husband, John Furlani, Kristine, and her husband, David Traska, all of Broad Brook; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, 6 Windsorville Road, Broad Brook. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nick and Ali Aresco Education Fund, c/o Webster Bank, 2 North Road, East Windsor, CT 06088.
