Mildred A. Hebert, 83, of Enfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Evergreen Health Care Center in Stafford, Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013.

Mildred was born in Vermont on June 6, 1930, to the late Fred and Amelia (Henricks) Aiken. After relocating to Connecticut, Mildred worked as a homemaker, raising and taking care of her family. Mildred was a parishioner of Holy Family Church and received great joy from spending time with her late husband, Conrad and her family.
Mildred will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Brenda Durrington and her husband, Gary of Suffield and Gail Rossi of Somers; her son Gary Hebert and his wife, Carolyn of Stafford Springs; four grandchildren, Leighann Parisi and her husband, Dave, Gail Champiny, Jessica Rossi and Ted Rossi and his wife, Mandi; and five great-grandchildren, Victoria Berube, Daniel and Lauren Champiny, Ryen and Wesley Rossi; and by her sister, Kathleen "Birdie" LaPan.
Family and friends may gather at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, for a procession to Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Mildred's life will be held at 10 a.m.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013.
