Nancy was born Jan. 11, 1937, in Wallingford, Vermont, to the late Robert and May (McClure) Eddy. She grew up in Wallingford, attended local schools and graduated from Wallingford High School. She lived in Vermont until 1958 when she moved to Manchester with her husband, Paul, and has been a resident since before recently moving to South Windsor. Nancy was a very busy woman. She was a den mother for the Cub Scouts and was a member of the Waddell Elementary School PTA in Manchester. She liked camping during the summer months where she enjoyed tubing down various rivers. She loved making fires on the beaches of Cape Cod and visiting her and her husband's home in Florida. She was also an avid traveler. Some of her destinations included Aruba, St. Thomas, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Myrtle Beach, and many more. Her personal enjoyments included golfing, bowling, crocheting and sewing, playing cards with friends, and her frequent trips to Mohegan Sun. She enjoyed her monthly gatherings with the women of Bolton Street for their monthly luncheons, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters Nicole and Amanda.

In addition to her husband and granddaughters, Nancy leaves behind her daughter, Cynthia Sullivan; her brother, Thomas Eddy; her sister-in-law, Susan Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Cox; and siblings, Marion Thomas, Donald Eddy, Beverly Holland, and Robert McClure.
