Ralph E. DeMaranville, 49, of West Springfield, loving husband of 16 years to Valerie (Torres) DeMaranville, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Baystate Medical Center.

Ralph was born March 1, 1963, in Hartford, the loving son of the late Clarence and Glenna (Gaines) DeMaranville. Ralph attended local schools in Windsor Locks and was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School, Class of 1982. He retired from Asnuntuck Community College after 18 years.
In addition to his wife, Valerie; he is also survived by a brother, Thomas DeMaranville and wife, Paula, of Enfield; two sisters, Linda Coscore and husband, Philip, and their children, Wyatt and Lilah Coscore, and Carol Sawtelle and husband, Bret, and their children, Sara and Kyle Sawtelle, all of Windsor Locks; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, José and Veronica Torres of Florida; a sister-in-law, Tamie Quagliaroli of Windsor Locks; and a brother-in-law, José Torres and fiancée, Erika and their son, Jose of Willimantic.
Relatives and friends can join the family during visiting hours on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks.
A funeral service in celebration of Ralph's life will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at the Congregational Church of Windsor Locks, 8 Main St., Windsor Locks, CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
