Ricky E. Berry, 48, of the Broad Brook section of East Windsor, joined his Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at his home with Kimberly by his side.

Ricky was born Dec. 12, 1964, in Savannah, Ga., son of Joyce Ann (Tillman) McFarlane, and her husband, Bruce, of Dale City, Va., and James E. Berry, and his wife, Tonya, of Hardeeville, S.C., and was raised in Savannah before moving to Connecticut 30 years ago. He was a member of the Broad Brook Anglers Club and was an active participant in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. Ricky was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed many sports in the outdoors.
Besides his parents, Ricky is survived by fiancée, Kimberly Ann Dawkins; his sisters, Tami Bacon, and her husband, Edwin, of Dale City, Va., Terry Berry of Savannah, Ga., and Tina Troiano, and her husband, Anthony, of Enfield; and many nieces and nephews.
Ricky's family will receive relatives and friends at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ricky's funeral will held Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Pooler Baptist Church, 204 Highway 80, Pooler, Ga.
Memorial donations in Ricky's memory may be made to Nutmeg Big Brothers and Big Sisters, 30 Laurel St., Hartford, CT 06106-1377.
