Robert H. Smith, 92, of Coventry, formerly of Manchester, beloved husband of the late Adeline "Addie" (Perkins) Smith, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Manchester Manor.

Mr. Smith was born on Dec. 11, 1920, in Manchester, son of the late Robert and Lauriene (Luce) Smith. He attended local schools and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester before moving to Coventry in 2005. Mr. Smith was a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the U.S. Army from 1942-1946. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for over 42 years at UTC in East Hartford as an inventory analyst. He was a longtime member of St. George Episcopal Church in Bolton and a 65-year member of Manchester Lodge No. 73 AF&AM.
Mr. Smith is survived by his loving daughter, Laurie Locicero, and her husband, James, of Coventry; his two grandchildren, Jason Locicero and Tina Brock, and her husband, Dan; and his two great-grandchildren, Angelina Locicero and Ava Brock.
Laurie and her family would like to extend a special thank you to Manchester Manor and Masonicare Hospice for their warm, loving, and compassionate care they gave her father over the last few months.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. George Episcopal Church, 1150 Boston Turnpike (Route 44), Bolton. Burial with a Masonic service and military honors will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester.
