Susan Ann (Lutton) Fusco, 56, of East Hartford, beloved wife of David S. Fusco, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Hartford, daughter of the late John and Lorraine (Morin) Lutton, she grew up in Vernon and graduated from Rockville High School in 1973. Susan lived in Tolland, Vernon, and in Arkansas before moving to East Hartford. She was employed as a dog groomer for over 37 years before going on the road with her husband, David, driving tractor-trailer trucks across the country for 10 years. Her husband, David, taught her how to drive and the two of them criss-crossed the country. She owned her own dog grooming shop in Arkansas for a short time but was a dog groomer at DJ Groomer & Supplies in Manchester. Susan enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching, and enjoyed being a clown with the Shrine Clowns in parades and other charitable events.

Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Billie Jo Fusco of Rockville; a granddaughter, Samantha Boucher; a stepson, David Fusco; two step-grandchildren, Christopher and Emilee Fusco; a brother, William C. Lutton, and his wife, Patricia, of Winsted; a niece, Chanel Laura; three nephews, Michael Laura, Alexander Lutton, and Eric Lutton; and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held today at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor.

Her family will receive friends prior to the service from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Following the service all are invited to the American Legion Hall, 20 American Legion Drive, Manchester.

Memorial donations may be made to Bandits Place, a pet rescue, P.O. Box 44, East Hartland, CT 06027.
