Timothy J. Allen, 57, of Stafford Springs, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital.

He was born in Manchester, son of Charles Allen and the late Margaret (Gessay) Allen. Tim worked as a truck driver for T.Q. Logistics. He was a member of the Historical American Truck Historical Society, and an avid New York Giants, Yankees, and NASCAR fan. He also greatly enjoyed anything John Deere.
Besides his father, Tim is survived by his wife of 21 years, Wanda (Temple) Lam Allen; two stepchildren, Narissa Myers, and her husband, John, and Lee Zalewa, and his wife, Kimberly; four grandchildren, Sebastian and Orianna Myers, and Stephanie Zalewa and Grampa Tim's "Best Little Buddy" Eddie Zalewa; two siblings, David Allen, and his wife, Doreen, and Susan Smith, and her husband, Craig; mother-in-law, Donna Temple; two sisters-in-law, Terry Neff, and her husband, Peter, and Diane Temple; his close friend, Bob Ercolini; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including his Maine family.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home Inc., 51 E. Main St., Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville.
Calling hours are on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
